WE CAN’T CONTROL THE WIND, BUT WE CAN DIRECT THE SAILS

 

ACTIVITY 1:
SAILING RACE

 

We’ll make two teams and each team will lead a sail boat. Each boat will have a sailing instructor who will explain how to drive the boat, how to set the sails, and the different roles inside a boat. Then it will be up to each group to decide who is going to do what and make a little plan before the race starts. Sailing instructors will be on the boat helping, but they will not be allowed to take the rudder. They will be able to give instructions when needed for safety reasons. Let the sailing race begin!

LEAVE NOTHING ON THE BEACH BUT YOUR FOOTPRINTS

 

ACTIVITY 2:
TURN BEACH TRASH INTO ART & RECYCLE

 

Saboga is a beautiful island, but ocean currents and plastic pollution brings to its beaches a lot of trash. It’s sad but it is part of the reality of this little paradise. After lunch, the same two teams will have a new challenge related to creativity and sustainability. Each team will have one hour to design and create a mural with the trash found at the beach. Some of the kids of the community will be on the jury and will decide which team is the winner. All trash used in the activity will be taken in collaboration with the kids to the SABOGA ECO-CENTRO, where eventually will be sorted and recycled.

🍃 The Sailing & Clean Beach Team Building day is designed for businesses with teams from 8 to 20 people.
If you are a smaller or a bigger team, please reach out to us and we’ll tailor the day for you. 

 

🍃 This is a one day program. We also offer multi day packages, let us know how long
you would like to stay and we will arrange a program specifically for you.

 

🍃 The price is $200/per person. Everything is included in this price: ferry round trip, internal transportation,
snack, lunch, sailing activity, clean beach activity, recycling activity, pictures & video summary after the activity for you.
